Does ARIS ATPI® cover authenticity?

ARIS ATPI® insures your ownership of your art against title defects in the same way that real property title insurance protects your ownership of your home.  Art title insurance does not cover authenticity or attribution of art because unlike legal title, which is fact-based, authenticity or attribution can be a matter of divergent opinion.  Art owners can be confident in continuing to follow their current practices of due diligence and the advice from art professionals on matters of authenticity, attribution and connoisseurship in buying and selling art.
